Authorities say the death of a man whose body was found inside a water tank at a central New Jersey industrial site appears to have been a suicide.

SPOTSWOOD - The man who was found dead Saturday inside a water tank at a cardboard box factory in Spotswood was identified as a Helmetta man who had been unable to find a new job, authorities said today.

Towns throughout the area and across the country this week will observe the 27th annual National Night Out, the crime-prevention event meant to bring residents together with local police and public safety officials.
